Responsibilities:
Our senior audit associates oversee engagements from start to finish, offer guidance to less experienced staff and interns and interact with our clients on a day-to-day basis. You can expect to work as a member of an engagement team serving a diverse client base of non-profit, employee benefit plans, manufacturing, governmental and more.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of current experience in audit and public accounting
Software:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications – Especially Excel
- Prior Experience with accounting/assurance software
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Solid Understanding and experience planning and coordinating the stages to perform an audit of a basic public and/or private company
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt style and messaging to communicate with all levels in an organization
- Ability to multitask successfully while working both independently and in a group setting
- Capable of working in a high volume, sometimes demanding environment.
- Ability to travel – less than 10%
